The band ended the Summer with a return to play on the bandstand at the Pavilion Gardens in Buxton. We managed to keep the rain away for most of the concert! This was our first concert with new MD Steve Rhodes.

In May we had a great Saturday morning playing for the people at Trentham scouts fun day including playing ‘Happy Birthday’ as they celebrated 50 years of their building.

St Luke’s church in Clayton was buzzing last night with VE day pride and celebrations. Such a great concert and both the audience and the band thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

The band ended their playing for 2024 at Tesco Extra, Longton , where they entertained customers doing their last shopping dash before the big day.

The band thoroughly enjoyed entertaining customers at Bobby’s Ice Cream Parlour in Hulme one Saturday afternoon in December where they were treated to mulled wine and mince pies. The cakes on the counter looked amazing!

The band took part in the Carols By Candlelight service at Longton Central Hall along with the Stoke on Trent Male Voice Choir.

Christmas playing began early for the band again this year when they played for the Christmas Light Switch on event at Trentham Gardens in the retail village on 14th November. It was great to see such a huge crowd enjoying the music and getting into the Christmas spirit.
